Curtains with gathering tape

Curtains with gathering tape are a classic hanging system in which tapes sewn into the upper part of the fabric allow the material to be evenly gathered. After pulling the cords, regular pleats are created across the entire width of the curtain, and the fabric can be hung on hooks, clips, or directly on a curtain rod. The standard 2:1 gathering ratio ensures an elegant, dense arrangement of pleats and proper fabric proportions relative to the window width.

Technical parameters of curtains with gathering tape:

• A 2:1 gathering ratio means the curtain is made from fabric twice the required width.
• For curtains with gathering tape, it is possible to order a slightly narrower or wider curtain to adjust the level of gathering.
• The bottom of the product is stitched to weigh the curtain down.
• The gathering tape is 7 cm high from the top edge of the curtain.
• 3 cords for gathering the fabric.
• The curtains have side hems with a width of 2 cm.
• Dimensional tolerance is +/- 2 cm in both width and height of the curtain, depending on the properties of the selected fabric.
• The bottom of the curtain is finished with a wide hem: for curtains up to 200 cm long it is 5 cm, and for curtains longer than 200 cm it is 10 cm.
• In the case of narrower fabrics, the curtain may be sewn from several fabric panels.
• Weights are sewn into the curtain corners to ensure an elegant drape of the fabric.
